Biography
Jürgen Cox heads the Computational Systems Biochemistry group at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried. He received his PhD in physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2001 and has since been instrumental in developing MaxQuant, a quantitative proteomics software package designed for analyzing large mass spectrometric data sets. Dr. Cox is the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field of data analysis in mass spectrometry and quantitative proteomics.
