Biography
Roald Forsberg began his career in bioinformatics doing research on molecular evolution and epidemiology of viruses. He received a PhD from the University of Aarhus and since worked at the University of Oxford. Later he moved to industry working on the CLC bio executive team. At CLC bio, Roald was instrumental in shaping the solution platform of the company and in making the company a leader in commercial software for NGS analysis. After the acquisition of CLC bio by QIAGEN he works as VP of Engineering and General Manager of the QIAGEN Aarhus site.
