On December 10-12, 2014, VIB and Cell host a symposium about Type 2 Immunity in Bruges. Some of the leading investigators examining various aspects of type 2 immunity will assemble in order to identify commonalities as well as contrasts of the cellular and molecular participants. This cross-fertilization will facilitate insights into this group of biological responses in health and disease.

The organizing committee, including Bart Lambrecht (VIB-UGent) and David Artis (University of Pennsylvania, USA) has carefully selected a group of international high-level specialists. Keynote speaker is Alan Sher from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, USA.
