With 280 participants, 42 speakers, 40 posters and 22 sponsor booths the second edition of Next-Generation Antibodies and Protein Analysis was a meeting full of science, technologies and interaction. The boat tour and delicious conference dinner @restaurant LOF were a nice intermezzo and the ideal moment to discuss collaboration opportunities.
“Although the research field of protein and antibody analysis has already a relatively long history, this conference demonstrated that the field is advancing rapidly. By combining top speakers both from academia and industry, the meetings showcased the latest technology developments and the scientific progress in the field. Emerging areas of interest included protein analysis at the single cell level, new platforms for measuring binding events at a level of sensitivity never seen before, novel platforms to make high affinity antibody libraries and much more. This mixed program created a unique and stimulating environment to set-up new collaborations and to encourage out-of-the-box thinking. There was also a very big interest in the poster sessions, which also demonstrates the technology-driven curiosity of our audience.”
