Jason. Moffat is a Professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics and the Donnelly Centre at the University of Toronto. His research is dedicated to studying cell growth and proliferation in cancer cells and in developing new technologies to study gene function at the cellular level. He has created genome-scale technologies for functional genetic analyses of all human genes and developed methods for the generation of synthetic protein affinity reagents. Jason is a Senior Fellow at the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research and Canada Research Chair in Functional Genetics.
