Jason Steiner

Jason leads business development and partnerships at Synthego, a leading provider of solutions at the intersection of genome engineering and data science. Prior to Synthego, Jason held a series of domestic and international commercial leadership roles in the clinical genomics field during the development of cell free DNA/liquid biopsy analysis technologies and their applications in reproductive and cancer genetics. In this capacity, Jason worked across four continents and had responsibilities ranging from commercial contracting, intellectual property licensing, and sales during the rapid transition of genomic technologies into routine clinical practice. Jason obtained his BS, M.Eng, and PhD degrees from the University of California, San Diego in Materials Science and Bioengineering, performing his doctoral work at the Moores Cancer Center focused on the development of novel nanoparticle drug delivery systems.
