Biography
A group leader at the Department of Evolutionary Biology and Environmental Studies,
University of Zurich, Switzerland.
Rie got her PhD degree at the University of Tokyo for genetic and physiological work of plant environmental tolerance, and worked as a postdoc researcher in the University Tokyo studying plant reproductive system. After moving to University of Zurich, Rie started evolutionary genomics study using polyploid plants of Brassicaceae focusing on homeologs usage and habitat adaptation.
