Scott E Hensley

Dr. Hensley received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Delaware in 2000 and his Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Health from 2007-2010 and was an Assistant Professor at the Wistar Institute from 2010-2016. He is now an Associate Professor of Microbiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The Hensley laboratory studies mechanisms that promote antigenic drift of influenza viruses and factors that influence influenza vaccine responsiveness.
