Laura Spinney

Laura Spinney is an author and science journalist. She has published two novels in English, The Doctor and The Quick. She has also published a volume of oral history called Rue Centrale and, in 2017, a non-fiction account of the Spanish flu entitled Pale Rider: the Spanish flu of 1918 and how it changed the world. Based in Paris, she writes on science for National Geographic, The Economist, Nature and The Guardian among others.
