Biography
Dr. Oliver Griesbeck is a research group leader at the Max-Planck-Institute of Neurobiology in Martinsried, Germany. He received a PhD in neuroscience on the role of neurotrophic factors in neuronal plasticity and then worked as research associate of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of California, San Diego, with Roger Y. Tsien. His interests are in fluorescent proteins, biosensors, imaging, and protein engineering techniques.
