Last week over 400 researchers from 24 different countries gathered in the beautiful Bijloke in Ghent to attend the fifth edition of ‘Revolutionizing Next-Generation Sequencing’ conference. According to attendees, the excellent program with internationally renowned speakers from different fields and the extensive networking opportunities were the main reasons to attend.

After four successful editions, VIB proudly presents the fifth edition of the Tools & Technologies conference Revolutionizing Next-Generation Sequencing. RNGS23 will take place on 27-28 March in De Bijloke in Ghent. It will focus on emerging sequencing platforms, new applications of long-read sequencing technologies, computational genomics & data analysis, outbreak sequencing & population-scale, single-cell sequencing, and spatial technologies.

240 delegates from all around the world gathered in a wintry Ghent for the 2nd edition of Type 2 Immunity in Homeostasis and Disease, a conference organized by VIB in partnership with Cell Press. The conference program included 20 top speakers, including De'Broski R. Herbert, Stephanie Eisenbarth, Federica Sallusto, Masaru Ishii, Richard M. Locksley, and many more.

Last week in Leuven we welcomed 240 attendees to the second edition of Emerging Applications of Microbes in Leuven for 2 days packed with the latest in microbiology research.
